We are happy to announce our annual showcase happening on 30 May at Ramkietjie, 35 Peter Road, Roodepoort and would like to invite you to join our event.

Five6seven8 Dance Studio & The Dance Studio proudly announces our Judges for the evening:
- Salome Sechele – Latin Champion, qualified judge and chairperson of adjudicators and SA Strictly Come Dancing Judge for Season 1-5
- Dave Campbell – Grand finalist in British World Cup and International Championships, 2nd in the World Amateur Championship and undefeated South African Latin & Ballroom professional champion
- Brian Schmidt – (Licentiate Ballroom & Latin qualified, seven-time undefeated Ballroom professional champion, president of the RDTA).
We are also honoured to have Johannes Radebe & Jeanne Swart, our SADTA & SADF Professional Champions doing a demonstration.

Entries:
- Solo Showcase: R300pp (Total will be R260 + R300 = R560)
- One Formation: R100pp (Total will be R260 + R100 = R360)
- Two Formations: R180pp
- Three Formations: R240pp
- Four Formations: R280pp
How will the evening work, we will be having a Strictly competition between solo showcases, formations & studios.
- Levels: So your showcases will have to be entered according to level, solo showcases (Bronze Bar, Bronze, Silver, Gold) and formations (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
- Time Restrictions: Bronze – 1.30-2.00min, Silver & Gold 1.30-2.30min
- Restriction: Max 2 Solo showcases per student per instructor / 3 solo showcases of divided between 3 instructors.
At the end of the evening we’ll tally the results and we’ll have a winner for the respective levels for the Solo Showcases and Formations.
Then we’ll add the studios results together and get the average to confirm which studio will walk away with the big glitter ball trophy.
Professionals are welcome to do demos on the evening at no additional cost.
ALSO a Lift Workshop is planned to be hosted on 26 April at The Dance Studio Honeydew with Johannes Radebe & Jeanne Swart from 11h30-13h30, R200pp. This workshop will deal with Do’s & Don’ts of Lifts and also assisting couples with lifts that they are planning to do.
Please take note that the venue can only cater for 250ppl max so it will be at a first come first serve basis.
