Our Instructors
Owner
Although I am the owner of the dance studio and extensively involved in the admin side I love to teach my Latin & Ballroom, Lindy Hop, West Coast Swing & Wedding lessons.
I have been teaching since 2007 part-time while finishing my studies for my certificate in Graphic Design and BComm in Marketing Management. Although I performed in school productions and did some Irish dancing I had no previous experience in partner dancing (that means you can also start after high school!)
I am trained in both American/Social and International style for Latin & Ballroom and was mentored by Dave Campbell.
Although I love dancing, I am a teacher at heart. I love sharing knowledge and finding new ways to teach my students.

Bollywood Instructor
I started my dance journey at the age of 5, with a form of classical Indian dance called Bharatanatyam and my curiosity only grew from there. I continued Bharatanatyam until I was
11. Later on at age 15, I came across Divya Art of Dance, a modern Bollywood dance academy. I continued with Divya for 9 years, growing into a professional Bollywood dancer.
Divya allowed me to be part of many great opportunities like being live-broadcasted on national television, partaking in international video adverts, opening performances for famous
Bollywood artists, and so many more. I have also fallen in love with both Burlesque and Belly dancing in recent years has influenced and strengthened me as a dancer.
My 14 years of dance experience have taught me that Bollywood dance is about expression.
Bollywood music is used to convey emotion, and dance allows us to express every part of who we are. Whatever kind of feeling you have, the goal is to get the audience to feel that themselves. My motto is that anyone can dance, all you need to do is try.

I started dancing more seriously at the age of 8 when I began my training in Tap and Modern dance. I competed in many eisteddfods, showcases, and exams through the years, and dancing never seemed to lose its charm. I still attend numerous classes in various dance styles and love the thrill of performing on stage!
I am now a qualified Tap dance instructor with the Association of Internal Dance Teachers (AIDT) and continue my studies by learning as much as I can about music, anatomy, and various dance styles. The creativity and talent out there never ceases to amaze me.

Breaking Instructor
After gaining invaluable experience from 9 years of competing on both local and international stages, I decided to transition into teaching. My journey began at Beatrockers Academy in Rivonia, followed by Dancazania in Melville. I then had the privilege of teaching at Dance Junxion and DanceWeb before becoming part of Andy Beck’s school of dance in Norwood. However, it was in 2019 that I discovered my true passion at Five6seven8 Studio, where I felt right at home. With a deep understanding of the dance industry in South Africa, my dance career took off in 2003 with my first competition. In 2004, our crew Demolition Squad achieved 4th place in South Africa at Battle of the Year in CPT, marking a significant milestone. Over the years, I have graced various prestigious events such as the Opening of the Lil Wayne Concert in 2010, Idols, Afrikaans is Groot, Bollywood Movies, and even performed in India for the Jack & Jones fashion launch. Noteworthy collaborations include being an ambassador for Shield, featuring in music videos alongside Diamond Platinumz, Arthur Mafokate, Zubz, and many other talented artists. My journey in dance has been enriched with diverse experiences and memorable achievements, shaping me into the dancer and teacher I am today.
