1. Choosing the right class level for you or your child.
It is vitally important to ensure that you are placed in the correct class. This is not just for experience level but for our younger dancers their developmental stage plays a big part in determining which class will be most suitable for them.
Five6seven8 follows the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus which has their own stipulations with regards to age requirements for their various grades. This is listed below:
– Tiny Tots: 2-5 years
– Pre-Primary: 5-6 years
– Primary: 6-7 years
– Grade 1: 7-8 years
– Grade 2: 8-9 years
– Grade 3-5: 10-12 years
– Intermediate Foundation and up: 12 and older
The minimum age must have been reached to be considered for a class award or an exam.
