Five6seven8 Dance Studio’s most celebrated annual event — and everything you need to know about it.
If you’ve been part of the Five6seven8 community for any length of time, you’ve heard the name. Strictly 5678 is our flagship annual showcase — a competition, a celebration, and a community gathering all in one dazzling event.
Inspired by the glitz and glamour of Strictly Come Dancing, the event brings together dancers of all ages and levels — from our youngest kids classes right through to adults — to perform in front of a live audience of friends, family, and a panel of professional judges.
How does it work?
Dancers compete across different age groups and skill levels — from Beginner Bronze through to Gold — in solo, duo, trio, small group, and formation categories. Each routine is scored live by three specialist judges, with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awarded per division.
At the end of the event, the highest-scoring performance of the day is awarded the most coveted honour in our studio calendar:

What styles are featured?
Strictly 5678 celebrates the full breadth of dance. Performances have included Latin and ballroom, hip hop and urban styles, lyrical, stage and theatrical dance, and much more. Our judging panel is always drawn from professional backgrounds across these disciplines.
Who can take part?
Strictly 5678 is open to all Five6seven8 students, as well as dancers from other studios who want to compete. Whether you’re stepping onto a stage for the first time or you’re a seasoned performer chasing Gold — there’s a place for you here.
Audience tickets are open to everyone. Come and cheer on the dancers, enjoy the performances, and soak up the atmosphere.
